The following guidelines, updated Feb. 19, 2023,<\/em> are in effect immediately and until further notice for all in-person\/face-to-face lessons, classes and events, indoor or outdoor, for Dolce Music Academy. The health and safety of everyone is our first priority and we will also be respectful of everyone\u2019s privacy. If we err on the side of caution, we consider that to be an acceptable choice. Thank you for your understanding and your cooperation. We appreciate your help in carefully reading and following these guidelines.<\/p>\n Precautions:<\/strong> Masks are optional<\/strong><\/em> for everyone in all private lessons, group classes, master classes, Dolce Babies classes, and multi-family events, outdoors and indoors. Please attend in-person lessons, classes and events at your comfort level. Online options will also be available, whenever possible. Since the Covid vaccines do not prevent infection from Covid-19 100% or prevent transmission of the virus, especially the Delta and Omicron Variants, everyone\u2019s choice will be respected. We ask that everyone continue to follow reasonable social distancing and hand washing\/sanitizing procedures, both to keep your instruments clean and to reduce transmission of disease. These guidelines will remain in effect until further notice. Failure to follow these guidelines will result in forfeiture of your lesson or class. \nIllness:<\/strong> Anyone in attendance, students, parents, siblings, etc. presenting symptoms (including fever, other Covid-19 symptoms, and\/or symptoms of any other contagious illness) will be asked to leave immediately and will forfeit their lesson or class.
\nVaccination:<\/strong> Everyone\u2019s personal choice to be vaccinated or not will be respected. No questions will be asked about whether or not anyone has been vaccinated.
\nPersonal health information:<\/strong> Everyone\u2019s personal privacy will be respected and no questions will be asked about your personal health conditions or individual risk factors for Covid-19.
\nExposure:<\/strong> If you or an immediate family member have recently been in contact with someone who was diagnosed with Covid-19 or has had Covid-19 symptoms, or have traveled recently outside of the US, you must choose an online option for your lesson or class for 14 days. If you or a family member are currently awaiting COVID-19 test results, you must choose an online option for your lesson or class.
\nParent attendance:<\/strong> A parent or caregiver MUST be with students under age 18 at all times, in the room, during all in-person lessons, classes or events for the entire time they are in attendance. You may not drop off your child or leave the room or the building. (the only exception is for students who are of driving age and drive by themselves to their lesson or class.)
\nFood and drink:<\/strong> No food or drinks will be consumed inside the classrooms at Christ Church. Please plan accordingly and make sure you and your child have had adequate sustenance before coming to lessons\/classes.
\nOnline instruction:<\/strong> Online options will continue to be offered, whenever possible, for anyone needing a distance learning option. You may attend your private lesson in-person or you may attend by Zoom, at your scheduled lesson time. Group classes will either be \u201conline only\u201d or \u201chybrid\u201d. Hybrid classes will have a computer or phone set up in the in-person group classes so students at home will be able to participate in the class simultaneously, live over Zoom. Dolce Babies Wednesday morning classes will continue to be offered online indefinitely. Dolce Babies Thursday and Saturday morning classes will be offered in-person only.<\/p>\n
